The Individual & Group Programs

Kappa Mainstream Leadership sponsors a Guide Right Program, which provides educational and occupational guidance for the members of the local community. The Guide Right Program was established in 1948 and has provided an invaluable service to a community of approximately 400,000 constituents and 200 young men enrolled annually in the various mentoring programs. There are several High Schools in our target area. The list of schools includes and is not limited to the following: High School of Technology, Concord High School, Glasgow High School, Village Charter, Mt. Pleasant High School, Brandywine High School, William Penn High School, and A.I. DuPont High School.

Although the Mainstream Leadership provides service and support to various groups consisting of elderly, needy, homeless, etc., the primary focus of the Guide Right Program is to promote achievement, scholarship, and excellence among African American males.

Mainstream Leadership encourages everyone to play their part in our Community Movement. The only way we succeed is when the change comes from within, and we want to empower you to take an active role. Learn more about the opportunities available to lend your support.
